One of GEA's main objectives is to disseminate the knowledge acquired from our research so that it contributes to improving and conserving our environment. Therefore, we frequently hold workshops, seminars, webinars, and specialized courses to disseminate our work and introduce students, managers, and engineers to topics such as the design, construction, and assessment of fishways or more specialized subjects such as the design of environmental probes with open technology or hydraulic simulation. Some of the main training sessions offered are:
- Design and construction of fishways
- Hydraulic and biological assessment of fishways
- Use of the AEPS methodology for rapid assessment of fishways
- Design of environmental probes with open technology
- 3D hydraulic simulation of open channels with OpenFOAM
